When your home is being built, it can be helpful to consider the outdoor space as part of the overall vision for the property. Valley Deck & Patio’s design package provides an opportunity to explore ideas, review possibilities, and develop a plan based on your home, property, preferences, and budget.

Consultation on your goals and budget
Site analysis based on the builder’s lot plan
Three design concepts to help visualize options for the space
Custom layout/site plan of the preferred concept, including patios, walkways, walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens, and more
One round of revisions, if needed, at no additional cost
3D renderings and a visual project walkthrough
Material and finish selection
Preliminary budget estimate
Builder coordination call to discuss grading, utilities, setbacks, and other site considerations

Is the design fee refundable?
The design fee is non-refundable. It covers the design process and the work involved in developing your outdoor living plan.
Can the design fee be applied toward the project?
Yes. The design fee, averaging $1,500, can be credited toward installation if a build agreement is signed within three months.
What if I decide not to move forward with the installation?
There is no requirement to move forward with installation. If you decide not to proceed, you keep the completed design package for your records and future planning.
Are revisions included?
One round of revisions is included at no additional cost, if needed. Additional design changes can be discussed as the project develops.
