Valley Deck & Patio’s Preferred Plant List

There are so many plants to chose from. Too many maybe. And the fact that each plant has multiple names is not helping anyone. In Maryland we have certain environmental factors to consider. One big consideration is climate. Another is deer population. In central Maryland, planting trees and shrubs requires us to choose deer resistant landscaping. Each plant will have sunlight requirements that need to be verified and compared to the site conditions. Below is our landscape plant list that will get your new landscape design started.
